Join us for the Fourth Annual Mustangs 5K to be held this Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at 9am at Midlothian Middle School. Open to all ages and abilities, the race and preceding events provide a fun and exciting opportunity to help support the Midlothian Middle School athletic programs.
About the Fourth Annual Mustangs 5K
The Midlothian Middle School athletic programs are among the most successful in Chesterfield County. In Spring 2016, we hosted our Third Annual Mustangs 5K with great success! Building on the momentum and successes of our athletic programs, we invite you to share in the experience of the Fourth Annual Mustangs 5K.
This event is hosted to benefit the Midlothian Middle School Athletic Department. Runners will enjoy a closed course throughout the Midlothian Middle School campus and local Midlothian Mines Park. Runners will also enjoy a post-race festival located on the track and main field.
This is a family friendly event! Children 7 and under will enjoy our 400m Kids Run. Together, let us demonstrate the energy, enthusiasm, and values of this wonderful community through your participation, sponsorship, and support of this fun and exciting event!
Midlothian is a vibrant and enthusiastic running community. By hosting a well-organized 5K, we hope to raise enough money to continue our efforts of funding the needs of our athletic programs at Midlothian Middle School.
Join us for great food, vendors, and prizes!

Registration is online and currently open! Click here to register! Hurry and sign up now as race entry is only $25. Race day registration will be available for $30 (Cash or Check only).
The race will be held Saturday, October 14th, 2017, at Midlothian Middle School. The race will begin at 9:00am. Parking is available in the school parking lots and in the nearby Midlothian community. Carpooling is strongly encouraged. Be sure to stay around after the race for prizes and activities!
The course is friendly to all ages and abilities, but is not stroller friendly due to some narrow paths. The course shows off the Midlothian Middle School property, as well as scenery from the nearby community. The race will start at the front of Midlothian Middle School, travel behind the school, lead to The Grove Apartments through a narrow path, then traverse from the Woolridge Lake, and loop down and back in the Midlothian Mines Park. The course will again follow the Woolridge Lake around and lead to the track to finish.
